Miami, 1991. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he transitions from high school student to avenging serial killer with the guidance of his father, Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Dexter (2006) first aired. Followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). Thank you for this series and most importantly, it is almost impossible to have a bad ending this time around. It is exactly what I personally and I think most Dexter fans needed after the disastrous ending of New Blood. I can’t wait for the next episode, the vibes of the original series hit so hard, the cast seems like great choices overall, the lead actor with Halls’ voice in the background it almost feels like he’s acting again. Lovely music and songs, writing also very good for a pilot episode, everything seems to be going in the right direction but I’m so scared to be happy because that’s exactly how we all felt with New Blood too. But hey, at least we have a Dexter series again. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. Check out our December calendar for more!
