Edited by Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very simple episode of rushing things to fit these pieces into the puzzle. And my facial expressions were also quite serious while watching this episode because there was no emotion, or even a logical story, from what I understand, maybe it’s an animated series aimed at children? But only kids who are familiar with the entire MCU by now might appreciate it. Let’s see how the rest of the episodes turn out, but I’m certainly not too excited for them after this one. Edit: Episode 2 gave a real sense of what the MCU is all about, it was creative and thoughtful with some great WHAT IF moments. I really enjoyed seeing T’Challa back on screen. But episode 3 was the deciding factor and made me edit this review. It was so emotional and exciting to watch, I could have watched the entire movie in this episode. It re-explored the characters we know to the point where you want more. Hopefully I’ll get to 10 stars by the end of the season. Issue II: Here’s my other star for a “weird” and thought-provoking episode that is by far the best of the bunch in terms of writing, narration, animation and plot. Special kudos to Benedict Cumberbatch for narrating like a boss. Kudos to Marvel for making this happen. However, coming to episode 5, the episode was definitely entertaining, it was funny and engaging with quality animation, but again it showed too much at once, not giving viewers enough time to absorb things. Still an overall 9/10 for the series at least until the next two episodes. They need to beat episode 4 to get a 10 from me.
